Good questions.
Honest answers.

Everything we get asked regularly: from pricing to installation to the legal side. Question missing? Ask us directly.

General

What exactly does HYGHSOFT do?
Three things: We build and operate HyghFleet, the platform for premium vehicle rental. We supply our own telematics hardware with GPS, CAN reading and remote immobilizer. And we develop custom software, from car sharing apps to time tracking.
In which countries do you operate?
Service, sales and support in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Vehicle tracking itself works worldwide, with roaming out of the box.
Who is HyghFleet for?
For rental companies of sports and luxury vehicles and for fleet operators for whom Excel and paper have become too risky. Whether 3 or 300 vehicles: the platform scales with you.
Do I really get an answer within 24 hours?
Yes, on working days usually much faster. You write directly with the person who also builds. No hold music, no ticket system.

HyghFleet & pricing

What does HyghFleet cost?
A fair fixed price per month, with no minimum contract term. The amount depends on fleet size and modules. Tell us your numbers and you get a clear quote instead of a price list full of asterisks.
How long does onboarding take?
Usually 24 to 48 hours after your go-ahead. We handle setup and configuration, you bring vehicles and customer data. After that you are productive.
Can I try it first?
Yes. The live demo runs in your browser with sample data, no sign-up. For specific questions we walk you through your workflows personally in 30 minutes.
Is there a minimum contract term?
No. HyghFleet can be cancelled monthly. We keep customers with the product, not with the contract.

Telematics & installation

Do I need a technician for the installation?
Not necessarily. Both devices arrive pre-configured, the guides explain every step with pinouts and mounting spots. If you have ever wired a car radio, you can do this. Alternatively any car workshop completes the install in under an hour.
What is the difference between GPS tracker and blackbox?
The GPS tracker delivers position, trips and idle times, wired via plus and ground. The blackbox additionally reads vehicle data via the contactless CAN reader: speed, rpm, engine load, fuel level. And it switches the immobilizer via a relay.
Does the CAN reader damage the vehicle electronics?
No. The reader picks up the data contactless through the insulation, no wire is cut. That matters for warranty and lease returns.
Is the immobilizer dangerous while driving?
No. The block only interrupts the next start attempt via the starter or fuel circuit. A moving vehicle is never shut down.
Where does the tracking work?
Worldwide. GNSS receives satellites everywhere, transmission runs over international cellular roaming, no extra SIM and no configuration.

Data & legal

Are the digital signatures legally valid?
Yes. Contracts and protocols are signed per eIDAS Art. 26 and archived audit-proof. That makes them usable in court.
Where is my data stored?
Encrypted on servers in Germany, GDPR compliant. Your data belongs to you: export is possible at any time, even if you cancel.
Am I even allowed to track renters?
Yes, with a clean contractual basis. HyghFleet ships the matching clauses in the rental contract, the renter explicitly consents to the telematics when signing.

Custom development

What does a custom project cost?
The first conversation and a rough assessment are free. After that you get a fixed-price quote per stage, starting with a clickable prototype. No black-box billing by the hour.
Do you take over existing projects?
Often yes, it depends on the state. Send us what you have. We will tell you honestly whether continuing or rebuilding is more economical.
